Since I only take a handful of weddings a year, it's important to make sure I'm available on your wedding date before moving forward. Even better, don't settle on a date until you've reached out to your key vendors for availability. Narrow it down to a month or season, and pick a date when the most of us are free! Once you contact me, I'll send over my availability and pricing information. From there, you can choose to either reserve your date upfront or we can schedule a Facetime meeting to go over any questions you might have!

Pro tip: I don't shoot weddings in December. So sorry!
After booking, we can get your engagement session on the calendar! I'll send you a Welcome Magazine full of tips and tricks to ensure your session goes off without a hitch!
If you are doing a bridal session, we typically will schedule that closer to the wedding date. 5-8 weeks before the wedding is my sweet spot!

Your wedding pictures aren’t made to live on a hard drive. They deserve a tangible home in your hands, where you can relive your wedding day again and again. Each album is custom-designed to tell the story of your day. With countless cover options, lay-flat pages, and beautiful archival-printed pages, these keepsakes will be something you're proud to display for decades to come.
I've found that engagement sessions are a priceless and important part of the wedding experience. They are truly the best way for me to get to know who you are as a couple, which makes your wedding day portraits so much smoother.
Engagement sessions typically last about 60-90 minutes (although they aren't timed). We'll shoot at 1-2 locations, and you can wear multiple outfits if you choose! Most of my couples do 2 outfits. I love helping my couples pick out what to wear, and I have some helpful tips I send out once you're booked.
Doing an engagement session allows for more natural, authentic images on the wedding day because we are all comfortable with one another and you've had practice together in front of the lens. Plus, it's just FUN! They can take place any time during your engagement!
What is a bridal session? It's a photo session for the bride alone before the wedding. Besides being a ton of fun, it has a lot of benefits too! First and foremost, bridal sessions give you a chance to do a trial run before the big day – your hair, makeup, shoes, dress, flowers – all together! They are a southern tradition, and many of my brides choose to display a bridal portrait at their wedding reception. You can also send your bridal portrait to the newspaper for your wedding announcement (most newspapers need the portrait before the wedding).
Bridal sessions are typically scheduled 5-8 weeks before the wedding in order to have enough time for images to be edited and delivered, and prints and canvases to be ordered.
