Adrienne & Mason’s Crystal Bridges Wedding

Weddings

I’ve been dying to shoot a wedding at the majestic Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art since it opened, but somehow it just didn’t happen until Adrienne & Mason’s wedding. Well let me tell you – it was worth the wait! They both love being outside, as well as architecture and design, so Crystal Bridges was the perfect backdrop for their big day as it truly marries both so seamlessly. It is the best of both worlds! They were able to incorporate the venue seamlessly into their wedding design through their gold debossed envelope liners, as well as the beautiful spots we shot around the entire 200,000-square-foot venue!

Even though this was a fall wedding, the couple went with a blue color palette, from the navy invitations to the pale blue bridesmaid dresses to the bright blue hydrangea and delphinium florals that draped their ceremony arbor and reception tables. I loved it so much and thought it was such a classic design. I was so thankful the weather cooperated with us so that Adrienne & Mason could have the beautiful outdoor ceremony they dreamed of. Underneath the homemade arbor, they said their vows as the sun dipped below the treeline. Afterwards, guests mingled at the outdoor cocktail area with passed h’ordeuvres before heading inside to the stunning reception hall.

One of my favorite details from the day is the custom menus each of their beloved guests had at their place setting – each with a photo of Mason and/or Adrienne with the guest! It was such a special and personal touch! I already loved these two, but seeing them loved so big by their friends & family on their wedding day solidified how fantastic they are. We had the best time celebrating the beginning of their marriage!
