If you’ve been keeping up with me at all on social media (which, let’s be honest, you should be), you may have heard that I’ve been dipping my toes into film photography lately and am quickly falling in love with it! I decided to bring my film camera to Amy’s bridal session at The Grandeur House just to practice – as you can see, the results were truly magical. I cannot tell you how much I love this session, but hopefully you can tell just by the fact that I blogged for the first time in a lifetime because of it.

Amy is truly a stunning girl. I’ve known her for ages and was giddy when she hired me to photograph her wedding, which took place yesterday at this same lovely venue. For her bridal session, I was thrilled to see her in such a classic dress with a modern twist – UM HELLO BEAUTIFUL BACK DETAILS AND FREAKING POCKETS! Paired with her gorgeous bouquet by the ever amazing Silks A Bloom, I was in bridal session heaven!

Most of these photos were shot on my Contax 645 with Fuji 400H, and were scanned and processed by Photovision (aka, best lab ever).
