An Unforgettable Chic Wedding at Crystal Bridges

Weddings

Maddy and Phillips’ wedding at Crystal Bridges was the perfect blend of modern and classic – a celebration filled with timeless details, heartfelt connections, and so much joy. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the warmth of their families, who welcomed me in as though I were one of their own. That sense of love and belonging carried through the entire day, making it not just beautiful but deeply meaningful to be part of.

Crystal Bridges is one of my favorite venues, and it was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. With light streaming through the walls of glass and countless picturesque spots around the grounds, it felt like every turn provided another chance to capture something magical. JLK Weddings planned and executed the day flawlessly, creating a seamless experience that allowed everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moments as they unfolded.

The black and white palette was both modern and timeless, a fresh choice that suited Maddy and Phillips so well. White flowers with touches of greenery added a classic feel, while the wedding party in black created a striking contrast. One of the standout details of the day was Maddy’s bow-veil – a chic, unforgettable touch that felt both fashion-forward and incredibly personal.

The best part of the day for me, though, was witnessing the intimacy and connection between Maddy, Phillips, and their families. From quiet exchanges of love to moments of uncontainable laughter, it was clear how much support and joy surrounds them. I also adored the energy of their wedding party – they brought so much life to the portraits on the lawn, and I had the best time photographing them.

The celebration carried late into the night with the incredible Lost Wax Band, one of my personal favorites, who kept the dance floor alive with music and energy. It was the perfect way to cap off a day already brimming with love and happiness.

Being part of Maddy and Phillips’ wedding reminded me once again why I treasure this job so much. Every wedding is unique, but the ones where I leave feeling like I’ve gained new friends are the most special of all. Maddy and Phillips, thank you for trusting me to capture your day – it was an honor and a joy, and I wish you a lifetime filled with the same love and laughter I witnessed on your wedding day.
