I honestly cannot express how much fun I had with Erin & Aaron for their engagement session a few weeks ago. There are some people you click with right away, and these two were so easy and fun to be around. Erin, with her joyful nature and easy smile. Aaron, with his calm disposition and ability to go with the flow. And yes, they have the same name. Which I thought was incredibly adorable throughout the session!
Although I was already booked for their wedding day in July, they still wanted to have me photograph their engagements and I was so happy to be a part of it! We started off the session in a coffee shop, which was the perfect amount of cozy and warm for the chilly day we were working with. I had to specify if I was talking to girl-Erin or boy-Aaron throughout the shoot, which we all giggled about. My favorite part of the session though was standing outside, miming my instructions for poses to boy-Aaron who then interpreted them for me and told girl-Erin what to do. We amazingly had great success with this!
After the coffee, we roamed outside a bit and up the street to a neighboring park. It was freezing outside, but you’d never know it from the gorgeous sunlight streaming over the grass! I was really bummed to be finished shooting at the end of the day, because I just loved them so much – but I love how the film turned out and couldn’t wait to share. Here’s hoping you’re enjoying the cold weather and having something warm and cozy in your cup while you look through some of my favorites from this session!
