Iconic. It’s the word that kept coming to me as I went through this perfect couple’s wedding images. Every detail – from the dress to the florals to the reception decor to the epic firework display – was impressive and memorable. It truly was one of those days I’ll cherish forever and I couldn’t have been happier with how the images turned out!

MaryScott and Logan chose to get married in downtown Little Rock earlier this spring. The day was beautiful, one of those perfectly sunny spring days that everyone hopes for when they choose a wedding date! Upon arriving at the Capital Hotel, where MaryScott was getting ready, I immediately felt at ease by the warmth and laid-back vibes of everyone in the room. As we got ready for MaryScott and Logan’s first look, I just knew the day was going to be one that was very smooth – and I was right! We photographed portraits at the Capital and afterward caravaned across town to Second Presbyterian Church for the ceremony. Little known fact, I got married there as well, so it’s a place that is very special to me.

After the “I do’s,” guests were invited back downtown for a spectacular reception overlooking the Arkansas River. Having never photographed a wedding at the newly-renovated Robinson Theater, I was especially looking forward to it! Man, oh man, it did not disappoint! I was blown away by the incredibly unique design in the space that was created by Blueprint Event Solutions and Tanarah Luxe Floral. They absolutely knocked it out of the park! Pair that with the amazing views of the river and the roof access we had for bride & groom portraits, and this day just kept getting better!

After an epic party, guests were invited to the roof for a surprise fireworks show. It was my first time to shoot fireworks and I loved it so much. It was a really special way to end the night, and I know that MaryScott and Logan will never forget how much love was surrounded by them on this day.
