A Refined Outdoor Wedding at the Inn at Carnall Hall / Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas

Weddings

Last year, I had the privilege of photographing Tatum and Weston’s beautiful wedding, and let me tell you — it was a day filled with pure joy and unforgettable moments. From their emotional ceremony at The Inn at Carnall Hall to a reception that took place at The Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, this day was the perfect mix of love, laughter, and timeless beauty.

A Dream Wedding at The Inn at Carnall Hall

The day began with Tatum and Weston getting ready in the cozy, historic rooms at The Inn at Carnall Hall (also known as the Front Porch of the University of Arkansas!). With the help of one of my very favorite wedding planners, Anne-Claire Allen, everything was perfectly organized and came together in such a beautiful, seamless way. As Tatum slipped into her wedding dress, I was completely obsessed with the modern silhouette of her gown — sleek, elegant, and perfect for a bride who wanted to feel both contemporary and classic on her big day.

One of the sweetest moments during the day came when Tatum and Weston shared their first look. But this wasn’t just any first look — their dog made a special appearance, running up to greet them in the sweetest way! There was something so intimate about that moment, and the way their dog added an extra layer of love and excitement made it even more special. The emotion on their faces was priceless, and I’m so glad I was able to capture it on film. There’s just something so nostalgic and warm about film that perfectly captured the genuine, heartfelt moments of their day.

The Lush, Dreamy Reception at the Walton Arts Center

After the ceremony, we headed to the Walton Arts Center for the reception. The venue was transformed into a floral wonderland, with lush white flowers draping over the tables. The florals, which complemented the soft color palette of the day, gave the space an ethereal, romantic feel.

One of my favorite parts about the reception was the light that poured in through the large windows, casting a soft, golden glow over the entire room. It was the perfect backdrop for the beautiful cake by Shelby Lynn’s — a modern, elegant design that tied perfectly with the theme of the day. I can still picture the way the light streamed across the cake and the guests as they gathered around, laughing and celebrating. It was truly a photographer’s dream!

And then there was the speech. Tatum’s dad took the microphone and gave the sweetest toast. The love and pride he felt for his daughter and the joy he shared in watching her marry Weston brought so many to tears. It was one of those moments that perfectly captured the deep emotions that weddings bring, and I felt so honored to be able to document it.

Portraits in the Back Garden

One of my favorite parts of the day was taking portraits with Tatum and Weston in the back garden of the Walton Arts Center. With the wedding behind them and their nerves gone, the couple was able to relax and simply enjoy each other’s company. You could feel the love between them in every photo — their connection was so natural, and the soft, natural light made for the perfect setting.

A Day Full of Joy

Tatum and Weston’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. The joy, the love, and the authenticity of the day made every moment a joy to photograph. From the modern elegance of Tatum’s dress to the heartfelt moments shared with family, this was one of those weddings that will stay in my heart forever.

For couples looking for a wedding photographer in northwest Arkansas who captures timeless moments on film, I’d love to help tell your story. Whether you’re planning your wedding at The Inn at Carnall Hall or the Walton Arts Center, your day deserves to be captured in the most beautiful way possible.
