I shot this wedding last spring, and can truly say that it has remained a favorite ever since! It was the most beautiful spring wedding day, taking place in the bride’s hometown in the backyard of the home where she grew up. The grass and flowers were just starting to turn green, as they do every spring, and the sun shone brightly. It was just one of those picture-perfect days at the end of winter where you know spring is right around the corner! Savannah, the bride, has always been the creative type, so when she found her dress (which had COLOR and flowers!) she knew she wanted to incorporate that into the design of the wedding. Working closely with her vendors, she personally designed the dance floor and invitation graphics – a subtle nod to the dress she had chosen and that no one else knew about! What a surprise it was to everyone to find out they had been seeing hints of the dress all this time and never even knew!

There were so many thoughtful details of this day – from the blankets that were provided to the guests, to the vintage-inspired cake on display. My personal favorite part was the colors of the florals that adorned the tables. It reminded me a lot of my own wedding!
